This service table is a welding project inspired by Alfred Roth’s design. The aim was to explore working with stainless steel on a larger scale and to create a functional object with a clear design focus.
The table is built entirely by hand, featuring a sliding glass top integrated into the surface. Under the top, there's a separate container designed to hold liqueur bottles. The handmade wooden box for drinking glasses is placed underneath and can be accessed from both sides of the table and close securely with magnetic fastenings.
This piece is designed to hang on the wall, inspired by the weaving “Road Movie: Visiting Mom” by Annika Ekdahl. Made entirely of welded stainless steel, it features a composition of leaves and lianas that come together to form a face.
The work explores the contrast between organic forms Inspired by the motives in Ekdahls work. The industrial material serves as a bold, sculptural statement for the wall.
The surface was treated by periodically spraying salt water, allowing the steel to develop a rich, natural rust over several weeks. Creating a natural red patina.
Natural stainless steel    -   Salt water patina after 2 weeks   -   Salt water patina after 2 months

This welded coffee table is made of stainless steel and takes its inspiration from human anatomy.
The table is supported by slender, stick-like figurative forms made from square wire, which appear to carry the weight of the tabletop.
The steel plate top rests above them like a shared burden, turning the table into a sculptural piece that reflects on the human body and collective effort.
Each figurine’s position was thoughtfully tested and adjusted to align with the table’s corners, providing stable and even support.
